For several years there has been a dialogue about the ability of biofuels stopping or decreasing the United States’ dependence on importing foreign oil and its renewable capacity that has a smaller environmental impact, but whether or not this is entirely true is still up for debate. To begin with most of the cars on the road in the US are not capable of running on biofuels, and currently it is an expensive proposition to convert vehicles to run on biofuels. Brazil on the other hand got an early start in mandating the sale of flexfuel vehicles that run on both conventional fuels or ethanol due to the oil crisis of the late 1970s. You can still participate in this burgeoning fuel sector even without actually having a car that runs on E85 or any other biofuel, by making investments in companies in the Biofuel sector. Obviously the large multinational agricultural companies are part of this business as biofuels are derived from crops that these companies produce. We have compiled a short list of companies that are engaged in the Biofuel industry in some manner and present them to you for interest in the technology and for possible investment opportunities. Before you make any investments in any publicly traded company, we suggest talking with your broker first, if you are unfamiliar with trading stocks. The following Biofuel Industry related companies are listed in alphabetical order of their ticker symbol.

Amelot Holdings Inc. – AMHD.PK
Better Biodiesel Inc. – BBDS.OB
Bio-Solutions Manufacturing, Inc – BSLM.OB
Consolidated Biofuels Inc – CSBF.PK
Earth Biofuels Inc – EBOF.OB
Green Shift Corp. – GSHF.OB
Green Star Products, Inc. – GSPI.PK
Intrepid Technology & Resource Inc. – IESV.OB
Nova Energy Holding, Inc. – NVBF.OB
NewGen Technologies, Inc. – NWGN.OB
Texcom Resources Inc. – TEXC.PK

The biofuel related companies that we have listed above are considered risky investments as they trade on either the OTC Market or the on the Pinksheets, and there will be little public information available on the financial stability of these companies. As these stocks will involve significant financial risk you may want to consult a professional stock broker or financial expert before making any investment decisions. We hope that you will be able to either find a product or make an investment in a new form of renewable fuel from the above list of biofuel companies.
